about

This album started out as an EP of sorts with 3 tracks, i had been getting board working on the TM&S range and wanted to do a small set of tracks for a specific film type. The TMS range where a pain to make such varied style tracks with what i had to work with, so i figured a set of specific genre tracks would not only be simpler, but allow me to explore a music aspect ide not toyed with before.. space and play around with unusual software. This sci-fi album later inspired the heists, the western and war collections.

The more i played with the tracks the more the Planet Mutron EP (as it was known as "working title" at the time) evolved into an album. This was the first in the "Collection" series of albums and paved the way for exploring specific film types. I may do a Vol 002 in the future, though if you check out the "Singles Collection" volumes, their are some space, cosmos and sc-fi based tracks on those albums. Remember track names generally hint at 1 of the possible scene types.

Tracks 23 to 26 are bonus tracks you get when you buy the complete album and there is also a track 27 and 28 which are not listed, but are included in the full album purchase along with a fair stack of extra content.. Enjoy...

Ps
(OYR) means original yamaha recording IE, just the keyboard right off the bat with no bells or whistles.

about

TheWraith517 Liverpool, UK

I was apparently born with natural music theory and people call it a gift. I guess it is a gift of sorts, but then its also an emotional curse. It gives me a way of venting my emotions on a level of sound and words that most tell me is pretty good. You be the judge and have a listen. My music "can" be used on YouTube, but you can't monetise it, the claims laid have no effect on your account :) ... more
